Exploring Layout Sections

The Sections screen presents your layout as a collection of themed areas. Each section represents a distinct part of the model railroad — a town, a mountain pass, a rail yard — with its own character and story.

Section Cards

Each area appears as a card with:

• Thumbnail image with a play overlay on hover for quick media preview
• Section name and a short description
• Category chips (Intro, Technical) indicating available content types
• View Details button to open the full area detail page
• Play button to preview the section's intro video in a popup

Default Sections

A typical layout includes sections like:

• Tamarack Station — Main passenger station with platforms, signals, and station activities
• Thunder City — Urban district with city sounds, street lights, and animated signs
• Eagle Nest & Payette Canyon — High mountain vistas and canyon operations with scenic trestles
• Payette Subdivision — Rural mainline with crossings, bridges, and long scenic runs
• Roseberry Yard — Busy freight yard and switching operations

Tap any section card to open its detail page, where you'll find the full media collection, construction details, and interactive effects specific to that area.
